Lashinbang Ikebukuro: Your Haven for Rare Anime Finds
Ikebukuro is the most famous anime spot thanks to Animate. However, there's an excellent second-hand shop right next to it.
That's Lashinbang. I found this store in Ikebukuro to have more rare items than other Lashinbang locations.
Let's take a look!!
Location:
Located about a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. It's on the 2nd floor of the building next to Animate. Although it's a bit hard to find, you can go up using the stairs or elevator after entering from the entrance.
Who should visit?
People looking for rare anime goods.

Shop Size: ★★★★☆
The shop is quite spacious. When you enter and head left, you'll find a corner for jump series, while going straight ahead, you'll see goods from other series like Pokémon and Tokyo Revengers. However, since there's only one floor, works from other genres are in separate shops. You'll need to visit different shops for Vtuber works or other female-oriented works.
Number of Items: ★★★★★
There's a considerable number of items. It seems they are currently focusing on Jujutsu Kaisen, as there were many related items. Compared to nearby second-hand shops like K BOOKS, they also have a rich selection of figures.
Crowdedness: ★★★★☆
It was quite empty on the weekday when I visited. The aisles are wide enough, so you can shop without bumping into other customers. Only the Jujutsu Kaisen corner was a bit crowded.
Rare Items: ★★★★★
They were selling items like Jujutsu Kaisen cans and Gojo plushies, which are not commonly found in other second-hand shops. Additionally, there are especially rare items sold in the showcase to your right as you walk straight from the entrance. You might find items that are hard to come by elsewhere.
Uniqueness: ★★★★☆
While it's a typical second-hand shop, they also sell cosplay costumes. Of course, they're second-hand, but it's interesting that they offer cosplay costumes. Moreover, there are many rare items here that you won't find in other shops, making it unique.
Now, let's take a look at the rare items I found.
Juju Can
These were sold at the Jujutsu Kaise Domain Expansion fair2022, and each contains a random petit towel out of 10 types. Are these rare? I could only find one listing on eBay. However, you can find cheaper ones if you search on Mercari.
Gojo Can Badge from SEGA Lucky Kuji
This is a can badge prize from the G prize of the SEGA Lucky Kuji. It costs 22,800 yen for one can badge, which seems insane, right? But there's a reason for that. There are a total of 16 types of prizes for this Lucky Kuji, and the contents are random. Therefore, the probability of winning a Gojo can badge is low, making it extremely rare.
Previously, I drew a lottery for Patreon members and was able to get a Gojo can badge. If I hadn't gotten it, it would have been worth that much, so it's worth drawing the lottery, right?
