Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Mulan in Akihabara, a five-story haven situated on the main street. Mulan isn't just a single store; it's a collection of stores within one building, offering a wide variety of genres. Plus, its location is fantastic, being just a short, approximately 2 to 3-minute walk from the station.

Who should consider visiting?
Anyone who loves figures. In particular, I discovered an impressive selection of Ichiban Kuji prizes.

Spread across 5 floors, this building might not boast large spaces, but every floor is dedicated to a unique concept, making every visit a new adventure. Pay special attention to the 3rd and 4th floors, where you’ll find an extensive collection of Jump-related content. However, be mindful as the aisles are quite narrow – it’s probably best to leave your backpack at hotel.

Given its compact size, the shop might not have a vast inventory, but it's rich in diversity. Each floor is themed distinctly:

B1F: Girls, Gundam, and more.
1st Floor: Hits like freelen, Chiikawa, and others.
2nd Floor: Purchases.
3rd Floor: Jump works including Dragon Ball, One Piece, etc.
4th Floor: More Jump works such as Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, SPY x FAMILY, etc.
5th Floor: Currently under renovation.
Navigating through the store is straightforward, making it easy to spot your favorites.

The shop generally isn’t crowded, but its compact nature might give off a different impression, especially on the 4th floor, which is a haven for Jump content enthusiasts. Jujutsu Kaisen fans, you’re in for a treat!

Don't miss out on the figures – some hold significant value in the market, primarily due to their limited-edition nature. Keep an eye out for Ichiban Kuji and last one prizes. I'll delve into some of these treasures in more detail below.

Jujutsu Kaisen Satoru Gojo Noodle Stopper Figure by FuRyu

This captivating figure is priced at JPY 9,500 in-store. However, I spotted it on eBay for $97.97 (approximately JPY 14,611). The difference is about JPY 4,000. While there's a noticeable price variation, it's relatively modest compared to other items. This suggests that the demand for Gojo merchandise in Japan is quite high. It's intriguing to ponder whether its value will similarly increase internationally. Such is the popularity of Jujutsu Kaisen's merchandise, especially those featuring Gojo.

Megahouse One Piece Portrait Of Pirates Excellent Model Limited Perona Gothic

Here's a stunning find – Perona from ONE PIECE. She's a fan favorite, and it's easy to see why. The price initially took me by surprise, listed at JPY 35,000. The real shock came from its eBay listing at $659.96 (JPY 98,428)!
The significant price difference can be attributed to the figure's quality and Perona's popularity among fans.

JOJO exclusive items!!!

On my visit, I stumbled upon some exceptionally rare JOJO items displayed in the showcase. The prices were astonishing. For instance, a Jotaro Can Badge was tagged at JPY 50,000. But what truly floored me was finding it listed elsewhere for JPY 99,000! This visit was filled with surprises, showcasing the immense value and demand for exclusive anime merchandise.
