During my recent visit to Shinjuku, I had the pleasure of exploring Surugaya, a renowned second-hand store in Japan. Situated just a stone's throw away from Shinjuku Sanchome Station, its location couldn't be more perfect. Surrounded by a plethora of restaurants and shopping malls, the area is a vibrant hub for anyone looking to enjoy a day out.

Surugaya is really famous store in Japan. It’s huge and they have own website it’s so useful.
And the shop is open from 11am to 9pm, making it a convenient stop for both early birds and night owls.

My visit was daytime on Wed. Not crowded.
Enjoy the serene atmosphere of our store located on the 5th floor of a shopping mall, away from the hustle and bustle of street-level stores. Here, you'll find the peace and space you need to explore our products at your leisure.

The store is a treasure trove of rare finds, from legendary items like Dragon Ball and One Piece to unique retro CDs and video games. While their showcases might be few, they are filled with valuable and sought-after collectibles.

Despite the popularity of Jujutsu Kaisen, many Seven Net items have seen price increases.

This Gojo Satoru item, in particular, seems to be getting pricier. What are your thoughts?

An item filled with nostalgia. I absolutely loved this song in my childhood.

・Dragon Ball Z (Super Famicom / 11,000 JPY)
Price on eBay: 39,000 JPY
I spent many afternoons playing this game as a kid. I wish I could go back in time and pick it up again. Its value has really increased, hasn't it?

・Banpresto Ichiban Kuji Dragon Ball Select Machines Prize A Color Version Figure (78,000 JPY)
Price on eBay: 144,607 JPY

The initial price was shocking enough, but seeing it on eBay at almost double the price – over 140,000 JPY – was even more surprising.

Normally Ichibankuji is around 700JPY/draw.
Though snagging an A-Prize might be challenging, it's incredible how a 700 JPY item can soar to 140,000 JPY – that's a 200-fold increase in value!
