A Must-Visit for Fans: 'Jujutsu Kaisen' Limited Edition Merchandise PLAZA × Loft Pop-Up Event!

From March 1st, 2024, a limited-time goods shop for "Jujutsu Kaisen" has opened in four Loft stores with newly drawn visuals. This POP UP event is highly popular, making it challenging to obtain tickets. However, I managed to secure one, allowing me to review this POP UP store.

Locations:
Aside from Tokyo, the event will be held in Kobe, Omiya, and Sendai. Here are the event periods:

Tokyo Solamachi Loft: March 1st (Fri) to April 8th (Mon)
Kobe Loft: March 19th (Tue) to April 17th (Wed)
Omiya Loft: April 19th (Fri) to May 14th (Tue)
Sendai Loft: April 26th (Fri) to May 20th (Mon)

Who should go there?:
Jujutsu Kaisen fans should definitely visit. This POP UP is immensely popular, and the merchandise offered is Limited Edition.

The shop occupies a compact space of approximately 10 meters in width, with about 10 shelves lined up. It gets quite crowded as only two people can pass through at once.

There is a wide variety of items available. Besides the exclusive merchandise, several other goods are also on sale.
However, about a week after the event, many items have already sold out despite purchase limits.

Crowdedness: ★☆☆☆☆
Due to its limited space, it gets excessively crowded with around 20 people entering at once. The passage also witnesses heavy foot traffic.

This shop offers numerous limited-edition items exclusively available here. Particularly, merchandise featuring characters like Gojo Satoru and Nanami Kento tends to sell out quickly, fetching high prices in the secondary market.

Adorned with a theme of "Chair: Blue", the design is exceptionally stylish. The visuals of characters from "Jujutsu Kaisen" sitting on the chairs are strikingly portrayed, created as brand-new designs specifically for this shop.

I was surprised when I checked out the prices of the Jujutsu Kaisen Plaza collaboration items! They are set at remarkably high levels. Every Jujutsu Kaisen store is always crowded, but the pop-up stores are on another level entirely. Although the crowds can be overwhelming, seeing the price hike really drives home just how popular these items are.

Gojo "Chair:Blue" Badge:

This badge is part of the "Chair:Blue" collection and is priced at 495 yen. The Gojo design, in particular, is a fan favorite. In Japan's second-hand market, these badges can sell for as much as 6,000 yen each.

Gojo "Chair:Blue" Acrylic Keychain:

Available in five different styles, these keychains are sold randomly for 770 yen each. In the secondary market, they can go for as much as 5,000 yen.

Prison Realm Cushion:

While not exclusive to Jujutsu Kaisen Plaza, this pre-sale item is priced at 8,800 yen. It's quite large, measuring about 40 cm on each side. On eBay, however, the price skyrockets to 286 USD (approximately 42,000 yen) each.

It's astounding how valuable these items are.

The prices on eBay are so high that it becomes difficult for me to purchase one. I believe many international fans desire these items but find them unaffordable.
