Lashinbang Figure and Hobby Store Nakano: A Must-Visit for Figure Enthusiasts!
Recently, I had the chance to explore Lashinbang, a renowned second-hand anime merchandise store in Japan, and I'm here to share my findings.
Located on the 2nd floor of Nakano Broadway, This Lashinbang store specializes in figures and hobby-related items. It's one of the three distinct sections within the store, alongside the Outlet and Audio-Visual departments.
Are you familiar with Nakano? It's a hotspot for Japanese otaku culture, especially known for Nakano Broadway, often referred to as the "Sanctuary for Otaku." This building, bustling with shops selling anime figures and various other merchandise, is a place many international otaku dream of visiting.
If you've searched Akihabara or Ikebukuro without success, Nakano Broadway should be your next stop!
Admittedly, navigating Nakano might seem daunting to visitors from abroad due to its retro charm and the plethora of shops. However, the allure of Nakano Broadway, with its unique offerings and atmosphere, is something I eagerly want to convey, starting with Lashinbang.
Who should visit?
Anyone eager to find figures, including rare and retro pieces, will find Lashinbang to be a treasure trove.

Kyle's Anime Shop Exploration: A Detailed Review
Shop Size: ★★☆☆☆
The shop is relatively small with limited showcases, yet it's packed with rare finds. I want to highlight something particularly noteworthy - the map of the product range available.
The shop features a diverse selection of products from popular series such as Re:Zero (リゼロ), Ensemble Stars (あんさんぶるスターズ), Idol Master (アイマス), and The Quintessential Quintuplets (五等分の花嫁).
Number of Items: ★★★☆☆
True to its reputation, the shop offers an extensive collection of figures, with a particular emphasis on content for female characters. However, items from shounen magazines are scarce, and sadly, Jujutsu Kaisen, a favorite among my readers, was nearly absent.
The shop excels in idol content and Ensemble Stars for male characters, with other items Tokyo Revengers and Blue Rock etc.
The outdoor showcase is a treasure trove of rare One Piece and Dragon Ball merchandise that caught my attention.
Crowdedness: ★★☆☆☆
The shop isn't overly crowded, but the narrow aisles can make navigating with a backpack a bit tricky.
Rare Items: ★★★★☆
The shop shines with its selection of rare and often pricey items. Showcased items, in particular, carry hefty price tags, with figures like Kaido reaching upwards of 120,000 yen. It's a haven for collectors seeking high-quality and unique finds, offering many pieces that are hard to come by elsewhere.
Uniqueness: ★★★★☆
This store specializes in figures, boasting a wide variety of types and rarities. It's an excellent opportunity to purchase a figure of one of your favorite characters in Japan.
Language and International Delivery
The shop's signage and online presence offer limited information in English, which could be challenging for international fans. While it couldn’t find international delivery things. I think they can’t do it.
But please visit their online store. You can check their valuable stock!
Wouldn't it be exciting to bring home a unique figure from your trip to Japan?

Super Sailor Uranus from "Sailor Moon Eternal the Movie" GLITTER&GLAMOURS-SUPER SAILO:
This shop is a goldmine for Sailor Moon enthusiasts.
I discovered the Super Sailor Uranus figure priced at 2580 JPY, a stark contrast to its eBay price of $91 (13365 JPY).
The store's vast selection of Sailor Moon figures is a dream come true for fans.

Attack on Titan Acrylic Stand Figure - Eren Yeager from Animega JP:
Spotting it in the showcase made me wonder about its uniqueness. Priced at 3880 JPY in-store, it's significantly cheaper than eBay's asking price of $98.99 (14538 JPY).
The difference of over 10,000 JPY was a pleasant surprise.
Hatsune Miku GT Project Racing Miku 2010 Version, Art by Kentaro Yabuki:
The high-quality Hatsune Miku figure caught my eye, notably different due to Kentaro Yabuki's artistry.
Yabuki, a celebrated mangaka known for works like Black Cat and To Love Ru, brings a unique touch to this figure, especially in the costume and atmosphere. Priced at 21300 JPY, it's a must-have for Miku fans, even with a smaller price difference compared to eBay's $230.93 (33915 JPY).
